We swear we aren't biased because they are a client of ours! Everyone over at Style House PR has literally been LIVING in our Toggery by Kate D'Arcy dresses and tanks ever since the hot summer weather came to NYC. They are just so lightweight, soft and comfortable, but still look really chic. Plus the colors are so fun that we just love mixing and matching. Oh and did we mention that EVERYTHING is eco-friendly meaning that the materials are either organic or sustainable (bamboo, modal) in every piece? We just can't get enough!
Some of our faves:
Catie - a cap sleeve, v-neck tunic in a bamboo/cotton blend, was featured in Hampton's magazine!
Heidi - a puff sleeve tunic (or dress! if you get it a little larger) made of 100% organic supima cotton
Kennedy - asymmetrical necklines are all the rage right now, and this one-shoulder ode to Jackie O is such a great mix of glam and fun for summer. It's made of modal which is derived from recycled beechwood, a renewable resource!
Jessica - how we first feel in love with Toggery, who couldn't love this tube dress in organic supima cotton? We wear it out at night with a vintage belt and the next day over a bathing suit at the beach!
Although we get a special "insider discount" wink wink, this isn't one of those eco-fashion lines where going green = spending a lot of green. National Jean Company "Make an Earnest Difference" Fashion Show, April 8, 2008

On Tuesday April 8, we had a fashion show for our client National Jean Company at Slate Plus on W 21st St. We partnered with the fabulous Earnest Sewn company and the show was the kick-off to "Make an Earnest Difference" -- a five-day denim drive with all denim going to Cotton Incorporated's COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN. (tm) initiative in which denim is recycled into UltraTouch environmentally environmentally-friendly insulation for homes for communities in need. We collected over 300 pairs of jeans and Slate was filled to capacity! The fashion show featured Spring 08 looks from National Jean Company's contemporary brands like Rory Beca, Alisha Levine, Charlotte Ronson, Graham & Spencer, Robert Rodriguez, LNA and many many more. All the denim was from Earnest Sewn and all the shoes were from Madison Harding.
VIP attendees included designer Charlotte Ronson, actress Bijou Phillips, socialite Emma Snowdon-Jones, socialite bloggers Mary Rambin, Julia Allison, and Megan Asha, Hot97 personality Dee Vaquez, VH1 VJ Allison Becker and MTV news anchor Kim Stolz.

Today we went to Lenox Hill Hospital to meet Noa Bea Senker, the beautiful new baby girl of Limor Ratzabi Senker, designer of Love Rocks NY. She was born at 6:30am on Tuesday and is a little bundle of girly joy! People often buy Love Rocks NY's customizable pieces as push presents, but Josh (husband) will have to be more creative this time, because Limor already has every piece! Limor's family serves as constant inspiration for her chic jewelry collection, so we are excited to see what will come out of her design studio next! In the meantime we will let her rest for a couple days...

Allison Berlin at National Jean Company

Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting Allison Berlin at National Jean Company. Allison has her own styling and personal shopping company called Style Made Simple (www.stylemadesimple.net) and she is also the stylist for What Not To Wear host Stacy London. Stacy is a style maven, in addition to being on What Not To Wear she also often appears as a style expert on NBC's TODAY show, as well as her own show Fashionably Late with Stacy London. So Allison is the woman behind the woman! She dresses Stacy for all of her various television appearances. Allison perused the Upper East Side boutique for tops, dresses and jeans that she thought would look good on Stacy. Here is a short video of Allison talking about what she picked out...enjoy!

When Oprah Asks, We Respond!

A producer from Oprah called last week wanting some more info on some of our designers. Since it's for TV, a headshot and press release just would not do, they need to see the moving image! So we rallied our forces together, cinematographer Emily and iMovie editor Janna, and created short videos for our clients that bring their story to life.

This is the inaugural post of our blog - how exciting!

January has brought wonderful things to Style House. We have a new addition to our staff, Emily Epstein, who comes to us from the PR departments at People Style Watch and In Style. We have also officially launched StyleHousePR.com which we hope everyone finds both informative and useful (you can download press materials and lookbooks from all of our clients)!

Our first big press hit of the year was a huge one - Hayden Panettiere wearing the Love Rocks NY Infinity band on the cover (and inside) of the February 2008 issue of Lucky! She also told Lucky how much she loves the Lion Crest pendant. She's a doll, we love dressing her, and she always gives our clients great shout-outs.
